This thing is a beast. Best mod I have owned. Finally found the horsepower to get full use of the valyrian. Love the old school aesthetic too compared to all the fruity color mods. Comfortable in hand. Solid.

Everything about his mod is made to perfection. The build quality is unlike anything I've seen yet, and I'm coming from the RX 2/3 and the RX Gen3. And the styling is awesome if you're into the retro look. Some people complain about the sharp edges, but it only took me a couple of days to really get used to it over the more rounded shaped mods, so it doesn't bother me a bit.

The software that can be downloaded from the Voopoo website for this is incredible.

You can create custom power curves for each draw, for example, having each hit ramp up slowly or hit all at once and then ramp down toward the end. I've built a custom curve that is perfect for me. You can also customize the user interface with custom fonts or images all right there in the software (it has a built-in word processor and drawing suite.)

I'd stick with the firmware that comes stock on the mod (1.0.0.0) as the upgraded firmware (1.0.0.1) has a built-in setting that turns the mod off completely after 10 minutes of inactivity, requiring you to turn it back on every time you want to use it (stupid), so I wouldn't bother updated to that unless you want that feature.

It has balanced charging, so you can charge your batteries right in the mod without worry. The only issue here is that the included USB cable is only about 4 inches long, so it's kind of useless.

The battery door is easy to remove and replace, unlike the previous Wismec RX series of mods, and it has magnets to hold it on, with a satisfying snap as you slide the door back on. It also has a spring loaded gold plated center 510 pin, gold plated, spring loaded battery terminals, and the entire mod is made from anodized aluminum and zinc alloy.

Despite all of the metal, it doesn't weigh much and fits really well in a back pocket due to its shape. It's about the size of a deck of cards, maybe even a little smaller than that.

Really, even though it's a bit pricey, it's an all-around fantastic mod with seriously good build quality.

I prefer regular Cotton Bacon 2.0 after giving this a try. It's a little bit denser and thicker, but I find myself combing it out more to make sure things are wicking efficiently which defeats the purpose of having denser and thicker cotton. It's fine though, would totally buy it if v.2 was out of stock. Seems to work really well in my wife's mesh RTA, which requires a thicker, denser wick.

This mod has really surprised me. The quality is amazing and it feels really good in your hand. I normally use DNA mods but this thing has really impressed me. I might have found my new favorite mod. You will not be disappointed with this mod. If you are on the fence, just go ahead and buy it.
