Received item and was initially happy with it. VapeNW was great to deal with and shipping was fast. Battery door was loose and rattled but no a show stopper. Mounted an OBS Engine Nano on top.
Upgraded to newest firmware immediately after reading reviews about self-firing condition. Device worked flawlessly for nearly 2 months. Bought the 3-battery door, but never used it as the 2 18650's kept me going all day without giving out.
On Christmas Eve, at my daughter's house, the device spontaneously went into full melt down. It was not firing the coil, but was heating up red hot. The battery cover melted on and I couldn't remove it. Burnt plastic smell. Quickly unscrewed take from top but heating and smell continued, smoke began to waft off unit. Had to run outside and scramble for a screwdriver to pry the back cover off and flip a battery out to get it to stop. Had it gone longer, I am sure the batteries would have gone up. Left in the lurch during a holiday get together without my mod. Luckily, my son in law had a mod we traded back and forth like a peace pipe to get me by until I got home and went back to my old mod. Nursing burnt fingers for Christmas...
I'm officially done with Sigelei products after this nightmare situation. I've vaped since ecigs were invented and never saw anything like this. Not even looking into a return or warranty claim as I won't own a product that would do this even 1 out a 1,000,000 times. One of these units are going to burn someone's house down. Do yourself a favor and look at mods from another manufacturer.
Ive had this mod for about a month or two, and its one of the best mods ive owned, and used. Very simplistic setup on the screen, very straight forward vape. I also like how you can charge the batteries by pluging in the mod.
so i have been using it for a day now and at first i was a bit nervous to have a 2 battery mod but so far its been really good , the battery life is pretty damn good , i have been running it with efest 35 amp batteries and so far i have only needed to do an initial charge m granted i have it running at 50 watts because i really don't know when i would actually go higher than that but im sure the battery would vary based on your tank batteries etc . So with that said i can say so far so good , however the one annoying thing was that the material battery pull is a bit long and makes it kind of difficult to close the battery door so i improvised and cut it a little shorter so after getting the batteries in it can close a little easier
Just bought this mod for my wife a few days ago. Today we were sitting on the couch and the mod started firing full blast for no apparent reason. We had to pull the batteries to get it to stop. Replaced the batteries and the toasted coil and if was working right.
Looked around online and finally found a Reddit about this exact issue. Apparently Sigelei released a firmware update in August that is supposed to correct this issue. Took about 15 min to install easiest way to find it is just to Google fuchai duo firmware. Please note when upgrading when the instructions say press the fire button they mean hold the fire button.
Just installed so no idea if this will actually fix the issue however the mod preforms much better post update and from what I have read it has.
I owned a Sigelei 213 and it's been a tank. I bought this mod thinking I would get the same quality, but I was wrong. I have power issues with this mod at least once a week, and have to re-sear the batteries. The fit & finish is not great either. The bezel that holds the screen moves back and forth with light pressure. The top and bottom plates move with just modest pressure, and the battery cover has noticeable gaps between the top and bottom plates. I definitely won't be buying another Sigelei, even at the great price offered by vapenw.
I had originally purchased the predator, after fighting it to remain in temp mode, random misfires it finally gave up and ejected it's 510 connector from itself. Return to here was great, no issues and they gave me a store credit. I've had several Sigelei devices in the past and never had an issue so even tho I had read about previous issues the company had, all I could do is go from my own experiences. Glad I did, very solid mod, I actually like the 510 in the center for various different rda's. Nice heft to the mod while not being ridiculously heavy, screen is informative and easy to read, fires when and how it's supposed to. Really, only complaint I have is the battery door at times comes partially off but a quick squeeze and all's well again. I honestly think it's how I hold the mod, pinky finger on the bottom and I must inadvertantly press the release.
Let me start off by saying that this particular review is not meant to diss Sigelei on the whole. I have owned many Sigelei products and have always found them to be of the best quality, they're usually tough as nails. I likely got the one dud out of the bunch with the Fuchai Duo-3.
From the get-go it seemed to lack power. Slow ramp-up with any tank/coil I put on it. Two days after I got it, I used it for one entire day before parking it on an end table in my living room. Four days later I tried to use it again and it wouldn't power on. And that was the end of that...
It's in the return process now (which is very smooth and easy here BTW), and I hope to have it replaced within the week.
Super fast shipping. Arrived in perfect condition. Great looking device with big screen and easy to navigate menu. Solid Build with no button rattle and battery door is rock solid on the one I received. 510 pin spring loaded, centered and all my tanks fit and function properly. The screen has a protective layer, so if you think it's scratched just peel off the layer and pristine screen underneath. I peeled from USB connection and used tweezers to remove. No defects found on paint finish. Five star device with good power, battery life, and big colorful screen. My new favorite vape Mod !
It has been working great for me I love that the 510 is in the center makes all the tanks look great and you can fit a very large tank on this mod 30's fit fine. I do wish that they gave you the third battery door with the mod it kinda sucks cause I know they are gonna have it but I'm gonna have to buy it when it should have come with it. The menu is very simple to use and the info available on the screen is very useful. Handles the higher wattage build with no problem.
Love this mod. Perfect size, love the fact that the tank goes in middle and you go all the way up to 30mm diameter with no problems.

At first I struggled with the batteries making connection but it worked for a couple days. I liked the mod and the features and comfort in the hands. But after 2 DAYS it will not turn on with any of my 8 batteries at all spent almost an hour trying to get the mod to turn on and nothing. Maybe I got a lemon but I’m not happy with this product one bit
Great 2 battery mod

I have bought 2 of these gems. Very small and ergonomic . Easy controls. My only gripe is the screen is a little dim. Otherwise, it's a great device.
